IREB Lunch Lab

AI & us

New at IREB: The Lunch Lab

Starting in October, there’s a great reason to spend your lunch break differently: With the IREB Lunch Lab, we’re launching a new online format together with our partners - compact, practical, and to the point.

Every Thursday from 12:00–12:45 p.m., professionals from the fields of Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis, and Digital Design will speak openly about what truly matters to them in their day-to-day work.
Each session will be led by a different partner company with its own area of focus, followed by an open discussion in a small group - our Community Ambassadors from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland will also be joining us.

The sessions will be held in German.

IREB Community India | Requirement Clinic

07.09.2026 · 12:30–13:30 Online

Analyze Before You Build - Methods for Complete Requirement Analysis

A requirement you never questioned is a risk you never saw. Many project failures don't start with bad code – they start with requirements that were accepted too quickly, understood too vaguely, or never checked against what stakeholders actually meant.

In this Requirement Clinic of the IREB Community India series, we get practical about Requirements Analysis: how do you uncover the real need behind a stated requirement, detect conflicts and gaps early, and turn raw input into a solid, shared understanding?

What to expect:

  • A concise introduction to analyzing and refining requirements the IREB way
  • Live demo: an AI-powered assistant helps identify ambiguity, conflicts, and missing information in real time
  • Open Q&A and community discussion

Who should join: Requirements Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners – and anyone who elicits, reviews, or refines requirements.

Free to attend. Registation required.

Mo, 7. September 2026, 12:30 – 13:30 (UTC+05:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Neu-Delhi n.

IREB and summit | co-hosting Modern RE 2026

28.09.2026 – 30.09.2026 · 09:00 Leipzig (DE) · Leipziger Foren | Hainstraße 16, 04109 Leipzig

We are joining forces.

IREB is the competence and community partner for Modern RE 2026, organized by summit, and is thus sending a clear signal regarding the further development of the RE community.

Our goal: to bring together people who want to advance Requirements Engineering. After all, the challenges are growing - driven by topics such as AI, increasing complexity, and new forms of collaboration. This makes the exchange of experiences, ideas, and solutions all the more important.

Modern RE creates exactly this space: for inspiration, discussion, and practical insights. Participants not only experience current trends but also take away concrete approaches that can be directly implemented in their own projects.

For IREB, this partnership is another step toward highlighting the importance of professional Requirements Engineering, promoting the sharing of knowledge and experience, and thereby actively strengthening the community.
