To support practitioners, members of the IREB Special Interest Group (#AIREB) have developed prompt templates for various RE use cases. These templates are compiled in our AI4RE Prompt Guide, which is continuously being expanded to include additional use cases.
AI4RE micro-credential
With the AI4RE micro-credential, you will acquire the essential skills to use AI specifically in Requirements Engineering.
This micro-credential will give you an understanding of important AI technologies, their strengths and limitations, and their effective application - from LLMs, chatbots, and RAG to the automation of requirements gathering, documentation, and management, while maintaining human control.
Contents
Upon completion, participants will be able to:

Classify the basic principles of modern AI in RE.

Describe the capabilities and limitations of large language models (LLMs).

Formulate prompts in a targeted manner and evaluate results critically.

Identify and address risks and responsibilities (bias, data protection, confidentiality).

Explain specific application scenarios in RE: elicitation, documentation, validation, management.
Target group
The AI4RE micro-credential is for anyone who lives and breathes Requirements Engineering and wants to use AI in a targeted and responsible manner to make their work smarter, faster, and more effective.

There are no prerequisites. Micro-credentials are ideal additions to your CPRE training.
A micro-credential is completed by taking a short online assessment with proof in the form of a digital badge.
